Very accurate description of

Very accurate description of Far Cry.

Also, that scuba game sounds to me like buying self-torture for the Wii. Like taking the absolute worst part of an MMORPG and making a game out of it. “Go find the hidden thing.” Then you run around for like 12 hours going “Where the hell is it?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! OMGWTFBBQ!~%*%#&@” Then when you find it, instead of being cool or something, it’s like “You have found a cute fish! Look how cute!”

Maybe they should just make a “Cutter” game where you use the wii remote to virtually cut yourself, and you get big points if you are able to lead a normal life in which no one notices.

Oh, by the way I’ve always thought it was a little weird that Noah being naked in his tent was somehow bad… It’s HIS TENT. How about some freakin’ privacy? Did they just go rambling around into any old tent back then, heedless of the consequences?

Also, special note: one of the prophets (Ezekiel? Isaiah? Bob the Redundant?) went around naked—at the behest of God Himself, mind you—for a REALLY LONG TIME IN PUBLIC VIEW OF ANYONE WITH WORKING EYES.

I mean, I’m just saying…

Maybe Noah should have said, “Hey, I just SAVED THE WHOLE WORLD by having enough faith to build a HUGE BOAT WITH MY BARE HANDS while everyone said I was a total moron. So I got a little tipsy and lolled around my tent naked for a while… DEAL WITH IT. Maybe, kids, instead of worrying about the fact that I am naked in my own personal tent, you should be worrying a little more about the fact that YOUR KIDS ARE GOING TO MARRY THEIR SIBLINGS. Also, what if you have a ton of boys and only one girl? Troubling times ahead.”

Hey man, I gotta say that that was really good. Very well written, and very thorough. If I ever get into a conversation about this topic with someone conservative, I will point them to this article.

Even though I’m part of the “choir” in this instance, I can still give a heart-felt “Amen” to the preacher.

I’m glad you’re out there doing research into stuff like this, because I definitely don’t have the patience, lol.

In the past I probably would have tried to come up with logical arguments for anyone who challenged me on this subject, but now I think I would just say something like, “Why do I think it is not wrong to consume alcohol? Because, seriously, DUH.” Game, set, match.

And, having truncated such arguments by pointing people to this article, I will get back to doing things that will leave a lasting legacy for myself and my children in this world: like setting my hair on fire.

I am glad to hear about this refreshing change, not many people can do this. Some people think that vegetarianism is food abstinence. I don’t share their beliefs and I think such a diet is the secret for a longer and healthier life. I also think you should keep your nutritionist close, he can provide periodical feedbacks of your regime.

i am a muslim but was always

i am a muslim but was always scepticle about the whole possession subject untill i’ve witnessed an exorcism myself and have had a few other freakish encounters several years back. i’ve hardly told anyone about my experience but for some reason i feel compelled to share this here. the main reason behind my choice of not telling anyone was the fear of being ridiculed and called crazy. the exorcisim took place in my own house and the exorcee was my sister. it was done by a muslim sheikh and he did nothing more than recite certain verses from the quran but i can surely say its an experiance i will never forget. i was 18 at the time and this might be funny to some which is fair enough but i was so terrified of being alone after for such a long time that i slept next to my mother for weeks. i’ve had some unexplainable things happen to me as well but that doesn’t neccessarilly mean i was possessed but it only made me believe even more. i’m not claiming in anyway that only us muslims can perform successful exorcisms but i’ve done research and it shows that an islamic exorcism is more effective especially in preventing it from happeining again because jinn if not properly expelled can easily enter or possess again. but i can say with no doubt in my mind that not any sheikh or priest can perform such a thing, only the truely faithful. there are people who call themselves holy men that hide behind religion to benifit financially and only hell will be their eternal home. for people who don’t know much about islam, and i’m not trying to preach in anyway, especially christians we do believe in jesus christ and in fact we believe that he would be our saviour and all of humanity, we beleive in all the prophets not just mohammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam). Jesus himself performed exorcisms and if you’re keen enough research it and i’m positive you’ll find something about it. we also beleive in moses but what people fail to understand is that all these religions came down to continue one another not to seperate and divide people. we were ment to be one religion and if not how do you explain the fact that the jews the christians and the muslims pray to the same god. i can’t remember the name of it right now but in one of the books of the old testemant our prophet’s name was mentioned and even how he will come from Paran which is known as mecca, amongst many other indications that there will be another prophet known to us as mohammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam). i know i’ve drifted off topic so i’ll get back to my story. It was just another weekend and i was getting ready to go out to meet some friends when my mother asked me to stay in but was reluctant in telling me why and i had to find out in the last minute. it all came to me as a shock since i wasn’t much of a beleiver let alone think it would happen to someone close to me. my sister always acted normally and you wouldn’t suspect that there was anything wrong with her even to the last minute before the exorcism started but for a while complained of continues nightmares and probably other things but failed to mention since she herself didn’t know that she was possessed. it was actually by coinsidence when one day she was at my aunts place who is a religious woman and she had a sheikh over after moving to a new house to recite quran to bless the house when my sister suddenly lashed out and started screaming and swearing at him. he instintly knew what was wrong and when we asked her she had no recollection of the way she acted and the things she had said to him. it was the same sheikh that performed the exorcisim and one way of knowing if a sheikh or if in a case of a priest that they are for real is if they don’t ask for anything in return as this deed or act should come souly for religous reasons not material. when the exorcism started we were all present my brothers my other sisters and my parents but i was sitting the closest to her and could see details as they happened that blew my mind away. he put his hand on her head her eyes open still normal but the minute he started reading out specific verses her eyes shut as if she fainted. after a few minutes and he was still reciting i could see her facial expresions change like she was in discomfort and started figgiting quite a bit then started making strange noises. in between there were spells of silence but as it progressed she started to scream and looked like she was in a lot of pain. i just want to mention that when that happens its not the actual person who screams in pain but the jinn. anyway she stops screaming all of a sudden and starts grunting and starts digging her nails in the sheiks hands trying to free herself from his grip that his hands start bleeding but he stayed focused and refused to let go of her head. everything goes quite for a while again except the sheikh would keep on reciting but something that made my hair stand was that i could clearly see some changes in my sisters complection. she’s older than me but still a young woman but when i see wrinkles apear suddenly like something from the twight light zone and her hair going from pitch black to patches of fire red i nearly lost my mind. i was so terrified but was paralised with fear because believe me i thought of running. she would struggle then cool down and that kept on going for a few minutes but then she started crying but what was so strange is that from each eye four simultaineous tears would fall ( sometimes more than just one jinn possess and some say that a whole family of jinn could it all depends on the situation ), but what was more strange and freaky is that after she would cry she would start laughing then cry again then laugh again then cry again and it went on for a bout half an hour. but the real reason why i spent weeks sleeping in my mothers bed like a child would do is at the peak of the exorcism she opened her eyes with a look only pure evil could manage and looked straight at me which resulted in everytime i close my eyes all i could see was those eyes piercing thru me. eventually it ended but it was so traumatic for all of us, so for those who don’t believe i promise you these things are very real but i’m in no position to force my beliefs on anyone so all i can say is god bless eveyone and may peace be upon you.

just one thing about the video for the rituals in the egyptian church the one main thing that made me question its auhenticity is why would a muslim named mahammad seek the help of a christian priest. i’m not saying that christian priests cannot perform an exorcism but it would only make sense that christians would go to a priest and a muslim to a sheikh
